Ecosurety managing director has been shortlisted for the ‘Young sustainability executive of the year’ category.
Billed as Europe’s most prestigious and high profile environmental awards, the Business Green Leader Awards shine a light on organisations and individuals who are redefining what it means to be a successful business. 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of Business Green and the theme for the awards this year will be celebrating the immense progress the green community has made in the UK in recent years.
The young sustainability executive of the year category recognises those under 35 who have helped to drive substantial environmental improvements across their organisation and the wider green economy.
The award particularly focusses on innovative young thinkers who have developed exciting new ideas to tackle environmental problems, and who are on track to play a high-profile role in the development of the low carbon economy.
James Piper commented “I’m absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for the Business Green Leader Awards, it’s a real honour to join such a prestigious group of finalists. At Ecosurety we are always seeking to make a change for good and to go beyond what is expected of us, I’m proud to say it is absolutely part of our DNA.”
The winners will be anounced at the award ceremony on 28 June in London.
