Ecosurety response to the Defra packaging consultations

Robbie StaniforthOn the 18 February Defra released four key consultations covering the future of Extended Producer Responsibility, a new Deposit Return Scheme, a new plastic tax and improving consistency in household and business recycling collections

The result of these consultations is likely to have a huge impact on packaging producer responsibility beyond 2021. In particular the proposals represent radical reform to the way in which producers are held accountable for the packaging they create/sell. 

The consultations are due to end by the 13 May 2019. This webinar, run by Ecosurety head of policy Robbie Staniforth, will provide an overview of what you need to know about the official response that will be submitted by Ecosurety on behalf of our members and key stakeholders.
