Overview

The unverified Q1 recycling figures released by the Environment Agency show a mixed performance. The table below shows the forecast packaging recycling evidence requirements for 2025. It also shows the carry-in tonnage reported earlier in the year from 2024. Carry-in is the number of PRNs produced in December 2024 that were accepted into compliance year 2025. We can combine the Q1 unverified data with the carry-in to see what % of compliance has been achieved.
