Certifications and memberships

In 2020 we became the first compliance scheme to be certified B Corp™, joining a global movement of people using business as a force for good. As a B Corp™ certified business, we meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability - placing people and planet at the same level as profit.

We have been a Carbon Literate Organisation since 2023 and in 2025 we achieved Gold Carbon Literate Organisation status, accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. Carbon Literacy is defined as, ‘an awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis’. The organisation status demonstrates that we maintain a substantial proportion of our workforce as Carbon Literate and we demonstrate Carbon Literacy through our organisational behaviour.

Our Management Systems are certified by a UKAS Accredited Certification Body. ISO 9001 not only helps to ensure that our products and services consistently meet our members requirements, but that quality is consistently and continually improved. The basic principals of ISO 9001 include a strong customer focus, motivation of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

Our Management Systems are certified by a UKAS Accredited Certification Body. ISO 14001 essentially provides a toolkit for organisations to manage their environmental responsibilities with a certifiable environmental management system. This standard provides reassurance to management, staff and stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

Our Information Security Management Systems are certified by a UKAS Accredited Certification Body. ISO 27001 certifies that Ecosurety operates an Information Security Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, as applicable to the provision of environmental compliance services.

Our Management Systems are certified by a UKAS Accredited Certification Body. ISO 45001 sets the standard for Health and Safety Management Systems, demonstrating that we are committed to reducing accidents, complying with law and are continually improving our health and safety performance.

We have been awarded Living Wage certification in recognition of our commitment to voluntarily take a stand to ensure that our employees, suppliers and contractors can earn a realistic wage that exceeds the legal minimum.
