Starting with the why

At Ecosurety we are proud of our questioning nature. We always start with the why, rather than the what and how of compliance, in order to inform and continually improve everything that we do. We are proof that businesses can excel by doing the right thing, and our aim is to equally improve recycling infrastructure and public awareness, as we know that you can’t have one without the other. We are also committed to collaboration across our industry and actively encourage transparency, something which we believe to be the greatest enabler of progress.

From our initial foundation in 2003 through to our certification as a B Corp in 2020, we have become a market leading scheme that goes far beyond basic compliance. 

It’s certainly fair to say that we are not afraid to stand up and make our voice heard on the topics that matter the most to us, and as a company, our main concern is making a positive impact on UK recycling and the global environment on behalf of our members.

We are dedicated to advocating more responsibility at all levels from manufacturing to consumer, something we believe can be achieved through greater market incentivisation, regulatory change and voluntary action.

We are also committed to challenging and encouraging the waste and recycling industry to do better, as well as be better, and this is our key differentiator.

Alongside our work in the world of compliance, the need to operate as a socially responsible organisation is extremely important to us. As a result, our projects and campaigns are always undertaken for the good of the industry, the environment and the community, as we aim to create long-term change for the benefit of all.
