Ecosurety wins Employer of the Year at the 2017 Business Brilliance Awards UK

Award recognises leadership that creates a ‘best place to work’ environment.

Business Brilliance Awards 2017 WinnerThe Business Brilliance Awards celebrate leading companies from all around the world, regardless of size or industry, in the private or third sector. Previous winners of the awards include BMW Group, O2, Aviva and Zurich.

The Employer of the Year category recognises organisations that have created a stimulating and supportive work environment and a real commitment to the welfare of its employees, resulting in high staff satisfaction levels and a well-motivated, ambitious and integrated workforce.

Key areas that are judged include successful communication of brand values, staff development, an embedded ethical culture, and creative and collaborative customer service.

Dedicated professionals embodying the company values

The team is encouraged to go the extra mile to make a difference to a community, solve an environmental issue, and improve UK recycling. As such the Ecosurety ‘Change for Good’ mindset has been a guiding principle within the organisation and has become the backbone of the company.

This, combined with continuous investment and development in employees, as well as a commitment to creating the best team in the waste and recycling industry, was key to Ecosurety’s success at the awards.

Head of HR Luke Hutchison commented “This award acknowledges the quality and engagement of our team, something I strive to nurture every day. Not only are our team dedicated professionals, they are also passionate about their work, embodying the company values."

"Ecosurety's people are at the core of all activities. It's all about the people. If we get the people right, the quality and service will follow.”

Earlier this year Ecosurety was recognised with a number of awards including the Business Leader 'Business of the Year (11-50)' and MRW 'Team of the Year'.
